Man’s best friend [VGA]


Râşnov, a citadel built around the year 1215
by the Teutonic Knights, now a town, with a
population of under 16,000, in Brasov County, Romania. The citadel, conquered
only once in its history, around the year 1600
by Gabriel Báthory, almost 400 years latter,
was “surrounded” by the proletarian democracy. In a proletar square, a proletar guy dreams… (by the way: the music is
Ciprian Porumbescu’s charming “Ballad for Violin
