  1. I"ve got the displaylink USB3.0 hub running a 2560×1600 30" monitor.  The performance is not bad, the faster the CPU the better the performance is.  There is always a bit of lag.  With an i7 4770 its very quick.  On my laptop with an i7 4510u its not quite as good but still passable.

  2. will it work with windows 10 as well? Currently when I connect my SP3 with 4K monitor using HDMI cable, I don't know what the issue is but I can't see my SP3 video on 4K monitor. Will your this product help?

  3. Im trying to connect this 4k adapter to my lenovo y50 laptop (max resolution 1920×1080) in order to make my Cintiq 27qhd at max resolution which is (2560×1440). Will this thing do that or am I limited to my laptops max resolution?

  4. i am deciding to buy this. i have a hdmi laptop (dual core i3). and i want to know if this will fill the whole ultrawide monitor. hdmi only lets me go up to 1920×1080. i need to fill the whole screen with a res of 2560×1080. is this good for video editing?

  5. I have a Windows 7 machine which has one type a USB 3.1 port and one type-c USB 3.1 Port. What type of adapters & hubs would I need to be able to support five 2K displays in portrait mode for business use?

  7. I have 3 21:9 ultra wide monitors with 2560×1080 resolution. The monitors are LG 25UM57 60 htz. They are HDMI only output. Will this adapter accept that resolution as an option? I intend to plug the adapters into a plugable 7 port hub as well. Thanks

  8. with my surface pro 4 and my vizio 4k tv can i hook them together and play 4k video through my surface pro 4 to my tv?

  9. Hello can you hook up the xbox one with hdmi to an all in one pc with usb 3.0 to project your games on a all in one pc monitor with this product?? thanks

  10. I have a Laptop with only one HDMI out (no DP ports), and I would like to have a 4k 60hz output (to a Samsung 27" 4k monitor, that has 2 HDMI in and 1 DP inputs and support Picture By Picture mode).

    Question #1:
Am I correct that if my CPU and GPU can handle it, then I can have the output by using a regular HDMI to have 2k @60Hz (which I tested already, works) on the LEFT SIDE of the monitor
and buy a http://plugable.com/products/uga-4kdp/ to have an output of 2k @60Hz on the RIGHT SIDE of the monitor ?

(The monitor supports Left Side HDMI and Right Side Displayport mode)

    Question #2:
Am I correct that in theory if I buy 2 http://plugable.com/products/uga-4khdmi/ then basically using 2 USB 3.0 ports (and having a decent GPU & CPU) I can output 4k 60Hz (to monitors that support PBP and have 2 HDMI)?

(Cause if yes, then this is a VERY EPIC PIECE OF TECH !!! 😀 )

  11. Good morning, with my surface pro 3 I connected a 4k tv with minidp / hdmi … i would like to connect another 4k monitor with this adapter via usb3, is it possible? .. the pc overall may be affected by performance ? Thank you

  12. if i have a laptop with 1 hdmi and i want to essentially use it like a desktop and have a dual monitor set up should i get the 4k or the 2k adapter im not doing 4k just hd and i dont want alot of lag. i have talked to you before and forgot what you said. im also a gamer …?

  13. I have a PC that was incorrectly built without HDMI ports. If I plug the HDMI from my 4K monitor into this device and into a USB 3 port in my PC will it work? And will it stutter?
